Wanna see something I had to paint?

I'm putting together my portfolio, so I'm delving through old assignments.


This was my second assignment for Color Theory.  The prof referred to is as our Color Squares assignment.  I did mine as circles because I have a thing for circles, especially colorful ones.  We had the paint the 12-step color wheel and then tint and shade it seven steps out from the hue.  We were graded on accuracy and presentation.

I took the best photo I could.  It doesn't quite do it justice... but then neither did scanning.  Also, the internet only uses 256 colors, ala the Adobe color sphere.

That's really neat! I think it was a good call to do the circles, too.

Thanks! There's something about colorful circles that makes me happy just lookin' at 'em! I posted a link to the portfolio I submitted today on my next entry. Not worth stopping what you're doing, but it might be good coffee break fare. ; )

So are you the fun/approachable/mentorish professor, since you get asked to write so many recs-- or is your req load sorta normal?
